Ours began quietly, with a simple helping hand. My younger brother introduced us because he wanted to help me navigate my school admission. I thought I was simply looking for direction in my education, but God was gently leading me towards something much greater — my forever.

What began as innocent support soon became something beautiful and sacred. Loving you felt natural, almost effortless. There was a peace in it, a sense that our meeting was not accidental. Somehow, our hearts found a home in each other.

You have always been a man of intention and purpose, and you did not hesitate when you knew what you wanted. After only a few beautiful months of knowing my heart, you asked for my hand, turning what seemed like a short courtship into the beginning of a lifetime covenant.

Then you showed me that love is more than words. You travelled that distance just to be with me and seal our promise. Our engagement dinner, surrounded by family and friends, remains one of the moments I will always treasure.

And before all of that was the moment we first saw each other at the airport — the joy, the fulfilment, and that quiet assurance that somehow, after all the distance, we had finally found each other.

A few months later, God blessed our journey once again as our families gathered to celebrate our traditional wedding, honouring our roots and giving thanks for the grace that had brought us this far.
